Announcement about we are dealing with the Coronavirus threat.

Dear Den’s Tea Customers,
We hope you are staying healthy and safe and express our sincere concern for everyone who has been affected by the coronavirus. Here’s how we are dealing with the coronavirus at Den’s Tea. We are open for business and plan to fulfill our online orders as long as it remains safe to do so. Tea is part of food chain which is essential, and we support it by supplying restaurants and grocery stores who need to keep their doors open. However, we will have a smaller workforce and shorter hours so may take extra time to process your orders. As we prepare shipments for orders, we use hygiene and sanitization practices in accordance with CDC guidelines.

In Japan, the staff at our parent company, Shirakata-Denshiro Shoten, Inc., our partner companies and farmers in Shizuoka have not been affected by Coronavirus, and, as of today, all of their operations are normal. Thank you so much for your prayers. The first flush teas will be produced and distributed as scheduled, though some events like the opening ceremony of Shizuoka tea market will be canceled and shipments may be slightly delayed.

This is certainly an abnormal time and it may be very difficult for some people. As a distributor of green tea, we believe green tea can help people relax and keep them healthy not only physically, but mentally and socially. We are closely monitoring this situation and look forward to offering our services as much as we can to tea lover communities.

Again, we wish you good health and safety during this time.
Sincerely,

Den Shirakata, president
